You'll want to rehearse these interview questions before your initial interview at least.  It's important not to regurgitate the same answers verbatim - this is obvious.  Although each interview is uniquely dependent on the individual's interactions, it is usually to one's best interest if it is as much like an informal conversation as possible.  Much like an interaction an MD would have with one of their patients.  You try to educate, counsel & most importantly, solicit feedback in a subtle manner.  In preparation for these questions, it is to your advantage to outline bullet points that you want to get across when asked each individual question.  Such that when the question arises, you know the points you want to get across, though not necessarily repeating yourself verbatim.

  • Why do you want to be a doctor ?
  • Why our school ?
  •  What if all medical schools closed ?
  •  What if you don't get in ?
  •  What type of a Dr.?
  •  Ethical dilemna: Gates vs. 17 yo ex-gang member?
  •  National healthcare system?
  • What's your best attribute?
  • What's your worst attribute?
  •  Why not RN ?
